| Canonical | A tag naming which version of a page should be indexed where several similar versions exist. | 20 |
| Citation | A mention of a clinic's name, address and telephone number on a site other than its own. | 27 |
| Concern page | A page named after the problem in a patient's own words, rather than after the procedure. | 9 |
| Core Web Vitals | Three published measures of loading, responsiveness and visual stability. | 21 |
| Decision unit | The three roles present in a clinic booking: the patient, the influencer and the payer. | 2 |
| Doorway page | One of a set of near-identical pages made to capture variations of a query, funnelling to one destination. | 26 |
| Field data | Performance measured from real visits, as opposed to a simulated laboratory test. | 21 |
| Gate | One of the five stages between publishing a page and it being shown for a query. | 4 |
| Hub | A treatment page with its supporting concern, answer and comparison pages linked around it. | 23 |
| Orphan | A page that no other page on the site links to. | 23 |
| Prominence | How well known a clinic is across the web, one of three published local ranking factors. | 25 |
| Proposition | Who a clinic is for, what is different about it, and why that is credible. No adjectives. | 6 |
| Quotability | Whether a passage still answers its question when extracted from the page around it. | 19 |
| Review gating | Routing satisfied patients to a public review and unsatisfied ones elsewhere. Prohibited. | 28 |
| Rendering | The stage at which scripts run and content appears, between crawling and indexing. | 20 |
| Structured data | Machine-readable description of what is already visible on a page. | 14 |
| Substantiation | Evidence you could produce today for a claim you have published. | 5 |
